What a beautiful day! I only have 4 dogs this weekend so far but that is fine since I still have a really low energy level. Just the same, I look forward to the busy summer months. Hope all is well up in Manteo!

- About my Business:
- Hatteras Island Pet Resort is a boarding kennel with two locations on the Outer Banks. One in Rodanthe at milepost 39 and the other in Frisco at milepost 66. Each run is 6 feet indoors and at least 8 feet outdoors in length, with the indoor area climate controlled throughout the year.
The hours of operation at both facilities are 9am to 1pm, and 3pm to 5pm. Frisco is closed on Tuesdays but Rodanthe is open seven days a week. You are welcome to pick up or drop off your pet during any of the open hours. We provide a mat and the food and water bowls. We also feed Purina Dry, but if your pet is on a different diet please feel free to bring that along and we will provide that as per your direction.
North Carolina requires the Rabies and Bordatella (or canine cough) vaccinations when boarding your pets. If you bring a copy of the vet records for your pets, we can just make a copy and let you keep the original.
The cost per run is $22 per night per dog. If you have two pets the rate is $42 per night for the two. Day boarding for dogs is $15 per day for one dog and $25 for two dogs between 9 and 5. You may also browse our website at www.obxpetresort.com.
